Jedda Clay

Hey, I'm Jedda. My story with clay started with a need to create. I ran a business in a small office and was confined to 4 walls each day.

I felt the need to expand beyond this which lead me back to the core of our natural environment, earth. I quickly found that this is my happy place. Clay unleashed creativity in me I didn't know was there. Now each day I am able to build with the earth from my home studio on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

Each piece I create with a hand coiling process, which is then fired, glazed and fired again for vitrification. I am also experimenting using the age old practise of wheel throwing. These processes mean every work is unique and hand made with love, to bring the earth back into our homes.
