It's that time of year again (for us in the southern hemisphere). As soon as the sun drops our uggies are coming out of the closet and we're getting excited to change up the singos and short shorts for some jeans and a cosy sweater.

We know what your thinking, us Queenslanders don't know what cold really is. But look, we will claim anything for an opportunity to find some fresh winter fits aaaannd to help you do the same we've put together a list of our favourite cosy knits we think you should be wearing this winter.

Hope Macaulay is the QUEEN of cosy knits and there is no denying it.

Hope's colossal knits are handmade to order from 100% jumbo merino wool by herself and her small team in Northern Island. They are fun, colourful and really ridiculously good looking.

The Lullaby Club are a cult fave when it comes to all things loungewear and we personally can not wait for their winter knit collection to drop.

Our pick of the bunch is their long knit cardi. We'll take two please!

With a risk of sounding so 2000's, Simonett by Simonett Pereira is just. so. cool.

Yes, that is the only way to explain this next level store, bringing together a curation of unique, modern and evolved brands and a range of knitwear we cant get enough of.

Another freakin' fun bunch of threads is those from Kina and Tom.

Channeling our best Rob from High Fidelity vibes, a knit vest is absolutely on our wish list this winter. .. we just cant decide what colour!

We think we're in love...

This statement sleeve knit from Les Coyotes De Paris is doing everything right for us.

It's all about blue for us this season and this knit set from Third Form is ticking all the boxes for our weekend shenanigans.

Now we just need some boots to go with them all...

Revel Knitwear May be on hiatus from knitting up a storm but they'll never be far from our heart.

Hand knitted entirely in Australia across the country by independent knitters, these cosy knits are pure delight.
