Moriah Overall is a Sunshine Coast based film photographer and videographer.
Hi Moriah, welcome to the Woman Of Series! Can you tell us what it is you create?
I create visual stories, mainly in the form of raw 35mm photographs, but also motion.
Talk us through your creative process. How do you reach your signature style?
I don't plan a lot, and I don't like to edit. If anything, I think understanding and working with available lighting is one of my strengths.
What is your big hope and dream for your work?
I hope to create work that inspires others. To see the world and the moments I experience, as their own.

We’re all about women inspiring women. Who inspires you?
Ciara Jones, the girl in the photo 'Best Friends'. She is unapologetically herself. She trusts in everything she does even when things start to look doubtful, because it always works out. She has always been there to support me and help me with my crazy creative projects.
What advice would you impart on the next generation of women?
Don't create to please others, create to please yourself, and that will truly speak to others.
